My blogging experience

In this experience I have realized that writing in English is the best way to incorporate the vocabulary and grammar I am learning. In my case it is better to learn this language while I talk to another person, or when I watch movies; However although my memory is not photographic, when writing ideas in another language, this allows me to know better the way in which that language works. For me to write in English is much harder than talking, when you speak even though the sentence is not well said, you can be understood because body language and other forms of communication help to understand better. But in writing, it is necessary to write very well, because a single misspelled word, or a single misused connector, can change the whole meaning of the sentence you are trying to express.

I still take too much time to write in English, but I feel that I now use grammar better, I can use more vocabulary and this is because writing in English forces me to look for new words to express myself, at the same time reading also helps me for this.

I think reading small texts in English and writing a summary or explanation of them, would be a good idea to learn to read and write in this language, especially because the English that use some academic texts, is a little different in the way of communicating, And since we are learning this language as an academic tool for our careers, we must learn the way in which some authors of our disciplines use this language to write and talk about their theories. I would also like to watch scenes of movies with audio and subtitles in English and work with that material.
