My choose career

I've to confess that I studied several careers before wanting to study anthropology. I come from Colombia and there I studied mechanical engineer, industrial engineer and industrial design, but I couldn’t finish them for divers reason. I didn’t have money, I was living alone and I worked all the time; some people can get forward despite of the difficulties, but I think that I wasn’t really convinced of what want to do in my life, so I took my bags and come to Chile. After of one year I knew better what I want to do, and I discovered the social anthropology, I don’t though too much about this, I simply knew that I wanted it and knew over time that this really passionate me. I can to say that since I arrived to Chile I knew my self-better and for that I choose the anthropology as first option, although I had other options: psychology, history and sociology. At this juncture I’m really satisfied of my election, I could learn thing that I never though before that I could to learn, my aspiration is learn increasingly about the society and theirs cultures for some day known how to contribute to building a better world, I hope.

"The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" Mike Newell

I realize that lately I have not seen many movies. but a few months ago with a great friend, we saw an interesting movie called "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" whose director is Mike Newell. I had not heard about this director before, but this movie has made me interested in his films. This film shows us how a community finds the way to deal with the horrors of World War II when the Nazis kidnap some citizens of their little town called Guernsey. There they make a secret reading club where they met to read books and eat only potato peel pie as it was all there was to eat because of the scarcity of food caused by the war.


a journalist travels to Guernsey to write a novel about this story, but when she arrives and makes connections with the people in this area, she realizes that this story is traversed by a lot of pain, which makes her work very difficult. I like this movie because it is a story in which a group of people find a way to be together and help each other in a difficult situation.

My first concert in live

I had never before gone any concert until I went to see to “el kuelgue”.  Actually I never had been interested see singing any musical group, but this artist I like so much that I couldn’t avoid go to see them with my friends. El kuelgue is an Argentinian musical group, its musical style is a mix of musical instrument, and you can hear the bass guitar, the guitar, the drums, the flute, the accordion, the saxophone and much more that I can’t remember; they to improvise all their songs, that’s why their music has a lot of variability, reaching to play all kinds musical styles. In this concert while was very crazy because the people was in high spirit and I enjoyed very much because I smoked a lot weed, I remember being there dancing and singing for two hours without stopping , although I don’t know all their songs but this wasn't problem for enjoy this concert I hope to hear them again live without be under influence of the weed.
